Flexible conduits The Flexicon Hygienic Range (HR) system consists of 10 different flexible conduits for hygienic applications, available in IP66, IP67, IP68 & IP69 versions. The HR flexible conduits have a special hygienic design and comply with EN1672-2 and EN ISO 14159 standards. They protect power and data cables from damage that can be caused by mechanical, electrical or environmental influences. Within the range, you will also find matching hygienic, stainless steel fittings, junction boxes and accessories. This results in a complete system that is ideal for the food and beverage industry and pharmaceutical applications. All products are corrosion-resistant and manufactured from FDA-approved raw materials.Plastic couplings and protective hosesThe Flexicon brand's plastic couplings are suitable for a wide range of applications. These include construction, transport, production and automation, but also the food industry where hygiene is paramount.The plastic couplings are made of Nylon (PA66) and are moulded in one piece, making them very sturdy. Due to the minimum IP66 rating, the couplings are very useful for applications in harsh conditions. Thus, they are also tested for vibration and shock according to EN61373 Cat 2. The plastic couplings are UV-resistant, have a wide temperature range and have a low fire risk. In addition, all Flexicon plastic connectors are halogen-, sulphur- and phosphorus-free.

Combine the plastic couplings with Flexicon's plastic protective hoses. These can be used in places where mechanical protection of electrical pipes and cables is required. Or use the couplings to connect hoses to a junction box, such as Flexicon's weatherproof Connectabox™. The plastic fittings can also be used to bundle loose cables, making the use of cable ties or Velcro unnecessary. Metal conduitsThe metal conduits are also flexible and can withstand extreme conditions. They have a wide temperature range (up to 600 °C) while offering high mechanical protection. The metal conduits and metal connectors offer very high-quality cable protection for applications in, for example, mechanical engineering, offshore, robotics and railway construction.
